The Netrunner
"You think the Gloom only affects the meat? You're wrong. You jack into a system this far out, and the logic doesn't hold. One plus one equals 'teeth'. The firewalls don't just block you; they hate you. In the Core, I was a hacker. Out here? I’m an exorcist."
Slinger 808BY Quesnel

The hardware is rusted. The software is haunted.
And I'm the only one who knows the password.
You see the world in code. While the others see a door, you see the logic-gate keeping it locked. You fight the invisible wars. You jack into the local networks, blinding cameras, silencing alarms, and burning the ICE that protects corporate secrets.
But on the Verge, the networks are old, glitchy, and haunted. Sometimes, when you look into the data... the data looks back.
You work with computers, networks, and the electronic nervous systems that connect everything on a ship or station. Data flows through your domain; communications, sensors, navigation, the thousand automated systems that nobody thinks about until they stop working.
You speak to machines in their own language, and sometimes they speak back.
